World’s Greatest Shave at the Hellenic Club
The World’s Greatest Shave is hitting the Hellenic Club in 2018 with three of our staff members getting behind the fantastic cause to be brave and shave to help raise funds for the Leukemia Foundation!
Head on down to the Triton Lounge here at the Hellenic Club Woden on Friday 16th of March at 5pm to cheer on our staff members Katrina, Aidan and Chris as they shave for the cause – with the hopes to raise $1,500 to donate to those in need.

Keep Your Life In Mind: Dementia Research to Practice Forum by Dementia Australia ACT Division
Dementia Australia ACT Division is excited to be bringing their Keep Your Life in Mind event to the Hellenic Club Woden
This forum will showcase local and national research projects and experts exploring the key themes:
- Raising awareness of the key risk factors for dementia
- Lifestyle choices that can reduce the risk of dementia
- Living well with a diagnosis of dementia
Bringing together established and emerging leaders to share knowledge and expertise, develop collaborative networks, and ultimately increase the connection between the latest research and dementia care practice.
The forum is open to allied health professionals, aged care professionals, people living with a chronic disease and carers, tertiary students, policy makers, and members of the general public with an interest in healthy ageing and the latest research.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
This course will contribute 6 hours of CPD points as outlined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A Certificate of Attendance will be available to all participants.

DZ Deathrays – The Bloody Lovely Tour
Everybody’s favorite thrash-party rockers DZ Deathrays are celebrating the launch of their new record ‘Bloody Lovely’ by touring Australia and New Zealand in May 2018. Joining them on the road in Australia will be three of the most up and coming acts of the moment; Clowns, These New South Whales and Boat Show. The record saw the band go back to their roots to make a strong, good old fashioned party rock record that still displays just how much their songwriting has developed since their two previous ARIA-Award winning records.

Monsters of Rock 2018
Canberra’s biggest rock tribute event is back for 2018.
Featuring the biggest hits from INXS, Aerosmith, Poison, Def Leppard and Bon Jovi.
SPECIAL – early bird tickets available ONLINE NOW. there are only 100 of these and will finish on the 31st march. Standard tickets go on sale from then and will also be available from the Club.
Last time we did Def Leppard and Jovi the venue sold out so don’t leave it till the day.
